Channable CSS
Submit, transform and manage product data for Google Shopping through Channable's Comparison Shopping Service (CSS) integration.
What it does
Channable CSS lets merchants prepare product feeds and submit them to Google Shopping via Channable's managed Comparison Shopping Service, while managing Google channels alongside other marketplaces and ad exports in the same workspace. It is used by e-commerce teams and agencies that need centralized feed control and campaign segmentation for Shopping listings. Feed preparation and rule engine Channable provides a rules-based feed editor to clean, map and transform product data before submission. Users can normalize titles, set category mappings, add or update attributes (GTIN, brand, availability), and apply conditional bulk edits so feeds meet Google Shopping requirements. Google Shopping submission through a CSS partner Channable acts as a Google CSS partner to route Shopping submissions through its managed CSS. Merchants can switch their Merchant Center association to the partner and send product data to Google Shopping from the Channable workspace instead of configuring a separate feed pipeline. Performance segmentation and insights The platform ties feed segments to performance features so merchants can label product groups, view product-level KPIs and apply different campaign or bidding strategies to segments. This supports isolating best-sellers or low-margin SKUs and managing them with distinct rules. Integrations and channel management Channable's CSS capability is part of its broader channel toolset and works with common e-commerce backends (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, CSV/XML) and Google Ads/Merchant flows. That lets teams manage Shopping alongside other exports without leaving the Channable account. Compliance with Google CSS rules Channable's documentation references program requirements that merchants and partners must meet for CSS submissions (product page language, accurate product representation and other Google policies). Merchants should ensure their product pages and feed data follow Google's CSS rules before submitting through a partner.
