Osano
A web-focused consent and data-privacy platform that centralizes cookie consent, preference management, and basic DSAR and vendor workflows.
What it does
Osano is a cloud data-privacy platform used by teams that need to manage website consent, track consent records, and automate routine privacy tasks across web properties. Cookie consent banner and unified preference hub Osano provides a configurable cookie consent banner and a visitor preference drawer that centralizes choices across domains. The UI can present category-level options, save preferences in a unified hub, and surface a consent transparency page for visitors. Cookie and third-party script scanner Osano crawls sites to identify cookies and third-party scripts, classifies them by purpose, and lists detected items for inclusion in the consent UI and cookie transparency pages. The scanner feeds discovered items into the consent toolchain so administrators can review and publish accurate cookie inventories. Consent logging, revocation and script blocking Consent decisions are recorded and stored with encryption; Osano enforces visitor preferences by blocking or allowing scripts based on consent state and supports consent revocation workflows. Administrators can query consent records in the Admin console when the appropriate decryption key is in use. Integration with tag managers and analytics Osano documents installation patterns for direct web installs and tag-manager deployments (including Google Tag Manager). The platform includes guidance for sequencing with analytics, Google Consent Mode, and GA4 to align script activation with recorded preferences. Extended privacy tooling: DSARs, data mapping and vendor risk Beyond consent, Osano offers subject-rights (DSAR) workflow automation, automated data-discovery and mapping features, and vendor privacy assessment and monitoring to help link consent and data flows with vendor risk information.
