TrafficGuard

Detects and blocks suspicious ad clicks and invalid attribution across search, mobile, social and affiliate channels.

What it does

TrafficGuard is a cloud-based ad fraud detection and prevention platform used by advertisers and user-acquisition teams to identify invalid clicks, suspicious conversions and problematic traffic sources across paid channels. Real-time click prevention TrafficGuard inspects clicks as they occur and can automatically apply exclusions to stop known malicious IPs or devices from seeing ads. The Search product documents direct integration patterns for pushing exclusions into platforms such as Google Ads to reduce exposure to automated or invalid click activity. Multi-signal detection and classification The service collects many signals per event-IP, user agent, referrer integrity, click velocity, device fingerprinting and post-click behavior-and applies rule sets and machine learning models to classify threats like bots, data-center traffic and attribution fraud. Flagged clicks and conversions can be surfaced for review or automated action. Omnichannel coverage: search, mobile, social, affiliates TrafficGuard provides distinct capabilities for Search (PPC), mobile installs/attribution, social placements and affiliate monitoring. Advertisers connect SDKs, attribution feeds or platform APIs to extend detection beyond search and to analyse post-install or post-conversion behaviour for suspicious patterns. Reporting, dashboards and remediation tools The product exposes dashboards and reports that compare detected invalid activity with platform-reported counts and supports operational measures such as IP exclusion lists and filters. These outputs are intended for reconciliation, audits and to automate remediation workflows where platform APIs permit. Known tradeoff: limits of IP-based blocking Vendor documentation notes that IP exclusions have practical limits (platform constraints and the use of rotating residential proxies by fraud operators). TrafficGuard therefore combines multiple signals and post-attribution analysis rather than relying solely on IP blocking.
