AdProtektor
Detect and classify suspicious ad clicks, review evidence, and submit exclusions to Google Ads or Meta when connected.
What it does
AdProtektor is a click-fraud protection service used by advertisers and agencies to identify suspicious website visits, inspect evidence, and optionally synchronize platform-level exclusions for Google Ads and Meta. It combines per-browser identity, behavioral scoring, session evidence and an optional server-side conversion pipeline to reduce noisy traffic sent back to ad platforms. Persistent person IDs and visit scoring AdProtektor attaches a persistent per-browser "person" identity to visits and scores each visit using device, behavior and network signals. Scores fall into categories such as Real, Crawler, Bot, Competitor and Click Farm, and the dashboard exposes the classification evidence so operators can see why a visit was labeled suspicious. Rules, automatic blocking and platform exclusions Admins configure click-frequency and other rules that can block traffic on the site or trigger automated actions. When ad accounts are connected and permissions allow, AdProtektor can submit Google Ads IP exclusions and maintain exclusion audiences for Meta. Platform enforcement depends on the connected accounts and each ad network's processing limits. Session recording and evidence inspection The product captures session replays and event details so operators can review what happened before adjusting thresholds or whitelisting a person. Replay retention and capture settings vary by plan; site owners should disclose session recording in their privacy notices where required. ConversionOS: server-side conversion handling As an optional add-on, ConversionOS (True Tracking) collects conversion events server-side, evaluates them against fraud signals, and forwards cleaned conversions to Meta CAPI, Google enhanced conversions and GA4. This is aimed at keeping platform optimization feeds focused on higher-quality conversion data when configured. Integrations and operational notes AdProtektor documents integrations with Google Ads, Google enhanced conversions and GA4, and with Meta via Pixel and Conversions API; it also lists Shopify and WordPress support plus custom API ingestion for ConversionOS. Platform exclusions and audience enforcement require active, correctly configured connections; if an ad account is not connected, the tool can detect suspicious traffic but cannot enforce platform-level exclusions.
