Before you choose

Understand what the advertising platform already checks

Google Ads already detects and filters invalid traffic and provides invalid-click reporting. Review that information before evaluating an additional tool. Ask vendors what extra evidence or controls they provide for your particular traffic problem, rather than treating every reported suspicious click as a new saving.

Inspect the evidence behind an exclusion

Compare supported platforms, detection explanations and the way exclusions are applied. Ask to inspect individual findings and how mistaken exclusions can be reversed. Establish who reviews unusual patterns, particularly when a rule could affect people sharing a network or returning to finish an enquiry.

Evaluate lead quality alongside traffic alerts

Record your starting point and assess the change using qualified leads, sales and the work required to investigate alerts. A blocked-click total alone does not establish improved performance. Check whether the issue starts at the ad click, the website form or later in the sales process before choosing a tool.

Questions worth asking

Does a traffic spike prove click fraud?
No. Investigate the timing, campaigns, placements and conversion quality before drawing that conclusion. Ask what changed in the account and what evidence supports the tool’s classification.
Is click protection also form-spam protection?
Check them separately. Ask exactly where the product acts and what happens when someone submits a form. Compare its controls with your website validation and the checks already used in your CRM.
