Before you choose

Dashboards, connectors or a complete reporting setup?

Separate collecting data from presenting it. A connector moves information into a destination; a dashboard builder lets you arrange and explore it. A reporting platform may combine those jobs with templates and delivery. Map your current workflow before deciding which part needs replacing.

Check the details behind the charts

Confirm the exact advertising sources, fields, account limits and refresh frequency you need. Ask how historical data is loaded and how failures are reported. Agree on conversion definitions, reporting dates and currencies before combining accounts. Otherwise, a tidy report can still leave everyone discussing why two totals differ.

Build one report before migrating everything

Use a real reporting brief with a clear business question. Try adding an account, adjusting a metric and sharing the result with someone who did not build it. Check permissions and scheduled delivery. Leave the trial knowing who maintains the connections, templates and definitions once the original builder moves on.

Questions worth asking

When is a free reporting setup enough?
It can be enough when the required data is available, the report is straightforward and someone owns maintenance. Check any connector costs separately. Pay for a clearer workflow or capabilities you need, rather than a larger template gallery.
Should every client get the same dashboard?
Reuse the structure and definitions that make sense across clients, then adapt the business goals and decisions. A shop and a lead generation account may need different questions answered even when both advertise on Google.
