Before you choose

Ask what the agent can do in an account

A useful demo should show the data the agent reads, the tools it can call and the output it produces. Distinguish explaining a report from preparing a campaign change and applying it. Request a walkthrough of one complete task, including what happens when necessary account context is missing.

Make approvals part of the comparison

Check how accounts are selected, what permissions are granted and where a person can review proposed changes. Look for an action history that makes sense to the next person opening the account. Ask how the system handles instructions found in websites or uploaded files, and how you can revoke access.

Start with a task you can judge

Try an audit or a draft that a specialist can compare with the underlying account data. Provide the goal, constraints and expected output. Track corrections and review time as well as speed. Expand the scope only when you understand the agent’s mistakes and have a practical way to catch them.

Questions worth asking

Does using an agent mean giving up approval?
That depends on the product and configuration. Ask to see a workflow where the agent prepares work and a person approves it, then verify which actions remain available without approval.
