Before you choose

Choose a research source for the question

Planning demand, investigating competitors and finding customer questions are different jobs. Decide what you need to learn before opening several tools. For competitor research, check market coverage and whether the product offers paid-search data relevant to your country and language.

Turn ideas into campaign decisions

Review suggestions against your offer and landing pages. Separate commercial searches from questions you would answer with content, and note exclusions while the context is fresh. Record why a keyword belongs in the plan so another specialist can understand the structure without repeating the research.

Treat estimates as a starting point

Search estimates and competitor observations help form a shortlist. They do not establish what a keyword will earn in your account. Compare the same location, language and time period, then use your own search terms and conversion outcomes to refine the plan once campaigns are running.
