FraudScore

Detects and scores suspicious ad interactions and offers real-time click protection for advertisers and networks.

What it does

FraudScore is a click-fraud detection service used by advertisers, ad networks and mobile marketers to identify suspicious impressions, clicks, installs and conversions and to protect attribution and billing flows. Fraud scoring FraudScore assigns a numeric fraud score to individual ad interactions (impressions, clicks, installs, conversions) so teams can filter, flag or review events before attribution or billing. Scores are available by conversion, channel, traffic source and offer to help prioritize investigation and automated rules. Real-time click protection (SafeClick) SafeClick can run in monitoring mode to label suspect clicks while still forwarding traffic, or in block mode to stop fraudulent clicks from reaching landing pages. This lets marketers protect landing pages, reduce fake conversions and keep analytics cleaner in real time. Fraud reasons and levels FraudScore classifies suspicious activity into reasons and extended reasons (for example, bot farms, outdated browsers, click injection, fake device IDs) and groups events into fraud levels. Those structured labels support rule-building, investigations and dispute workflows. APIs and integrations The product provides APIs and integration points, including links to mobile measurement partners (MMPs), so teams can push scores and labels into attribution flows, dashboards and automation pipelines. The vendor emphasizes mobile in-app threat types and common ad channels in its documentation. Reporting and industry analysis FraudScore publishes reports and a blog tracking regional and vertical fraud trends, and provides downloadable reports that practitioners use to inform mitigation strategies and to understand evolving attack patterns.
