Plausible

Privacy-first, cookieless web analytics for simple traffic and conversion metrics.

What it does

Plausible is a lightweight, privacy-focused web analytics tool for publishers, small businesses and teams that need simple, aggregated traffic and conversion metrics without cookie-based user tracking. Cookieless aggregated dashboard Plausible reports compact, real-time metrics such as visitors, pageviews, bounce rate, visit duration and top pages without relying on cookies or user-level identifiers. The dashboard is designed for quick, privacy-compliant monitoring rather than deep session analysis. Goals, events and funnels You can define conversion goals, send custom events (for example, newsletter signups or button clicks) and build basic funnels to measure drop-off between steps. These features let marketing and content teams track campaign outcomes while remaining within an aggregated, privacy-preserving model. Campaign attribution, exports and APIs Plausible supports UTM-based campaign attribution and basic revenue tracking. Data can be exported as CSV, queried via the Stats API and ingested through the Events API, enabling integration with reporting workflows or external BI tools. Integrations and install options Official guides and plugins exist for common platforms (WordPress, Shopify, static sites and popular frameworks), and tracking can be sent server-side or proxied to work around ad blockers. In addition to the managed cloud service, Plausible offers a self-hostable Community Edition (AGPLv3) for teams that want direct control over hosting and data.
